I really like this product

I have soft, fine, naturally curly hair with some less-soft gray strands mixed in, and this shampoo bar does a great job with all of it. It’s easy to lather with just a few swipes across my wet hair, rinses cleanly and leaves my hair soft. I do have to follow with a conditioner, but I do that with any shampoo. I like the fragrance while I’m washing my hair, and I like that the fragrance doesn’t cling to my hair all day. The travel tin it comes packaged in is a handy addition, although I hope they will offer a refill for the tin rather than packaging every bar with a tin. Nevertheless, I’d rather have an extra, easily recycled or reusable tin than another plastic bottle. I don’t use the tin to store the bar, instead keeping it on a perforated soap dish so it will dry. I’m not sure how long the bar will last, but I’ve been using it every two to three days for several weeks now, and there’s still a lot of it left. I’m hoping it will be not only a better environmental choice, but a better budget choice, as well.

🧼 Aromatic Shampoo Bar Disappoints 😕

🧼 PACKAGING : Shampoo bar comes in a steel tin. It's a pain to open and close it. Tin not suitable for storing bar unless you dry bar out first.🧼 SCENT : Smells phenominal. Great scent.🧼 LATHER: OK, not as much as a bar of soap gives. The lather is not as thick as the lather from liquid shampoo.🧼 CLEANS: Didn't get my hair clean. I have dry curly hair. I only wash it about twice a week to keep it from being too dry. After washing with this bar, I had to rewash with my liquid shampoo.🧼 NOURISHING/MOISTURIZING/CONDITIONING: : If this bar is moisturizing or conditioning then why do we need to follow it with a moisturizing bar?🧼 WASTE: Very eco-friendly, I guess. What is the eco-impact of a steel tin vs a plastic bottle? I don't know. How many washes does this bar really give you?🧼 OVERALL : This bar smells great but I wasn't impressed with the performance. It didn't get my hair clean at all. Also I don't have a soap dish that will properly drain the soap bar so it can dry between uses rather than melting away and it's a pain to remove it from the shower, dry it, and then store it, and then put it back in the shower when I want to use it.💖 If this review was helpful please let me know by clicking on the "Helpful" button 💖

Great for travel or for every day!

I have been converted to shampoo bars. They work as good as liquid soaps, but without all the water waste. The best technique I have found is to get my hair wet and rub the wet bar down the length of my hair. This particular shampoo works well with my fine, thick hair. The scent is pleasant, but doesn’t stand out too much. It comes I’m with a nice tin for travel, though mine was horribly dented during shipping.

Clean, Shiny Hair

Oats and Honey Shampoo Bar by TAZA cleans my hair and leaves it soft and smelling nice. The fragrance is light and doesn't last long (I see that as a good thing!).I have been buying more shampoo bars these days because they're better for the planet. This is a very good shampoo bar that works well.

Shampoo Bar

Taza needs to get rid of the black label inside the lid. I spent the first few minutes trying to decide if there was mold on the shampoo bar. The black label rubs off on the bar leaving black marks. The bar itself is larger than most shampoo bars I have used and you receive a tin for traveling which I consider to be a huge bonus. I turn my bar on its side inside the tin to allow it to dry before I close the lid again. The fragrance is light and as I would expect from honey and oats. It lathers well and cleans hair and scalp. My hair feels soft and tangle free after rinsing with no need for conditioner, but my hair is pretty short right now. Overall a good conditioning shampoo bar.
